His producing credits span a wide range of genres and collaborators, including Driver Ed (John Travolta), Flash Before the Bang (Kevin James), Hunting Season (Mel Gibson), 3 Holes and a Donut (William H. Macy), Tooth & Nail (Vinnie Jones), Killing Jar (Michael Madsen) and Something’s In There (James Franco,). Known for his calm under pressure and relentless attention to detail, Short is the kind of producer who elevates material while safeguarding the practical realities of production.

Career :
The rest of his career is peppered with experience ranging from ADR for Showtime’s Homeland and AMC’s Turn: Washington Spies series’, to being a non-scripted producer for many hours of reality programming, including Assembly Required on History Channel; to Associate and Co-Producer credits on feature films for many independent distributors including Lion’s Gate, AMC, Samuel Goldwyn, and IFC to name a few.
In addition to his work on set, Short has led production infrastructure for Inspiration Networks, Passionflix, and WebMD—guiding content from development through delivery with an eye toward operational efficiency, creative execution, and team cohesion.
Based in Atlanta, he collaborates closely with financiers, studios, and creative partners to develop and deliver feature films that are strategically engineered and emotionally resonant. His directorial debut earned Best Picture and Best New Filmmaker honors on the international festival circuit.
